I tried embroidery for the first time. Personally, experiencing the combination of getting practical work done, along with the easy flow of conversation that this kind of work allows had a lasting impact. Sewing, with artists, in conversation became part of my embodied, emplaced and entangled experience of Koganecho. From this experience emerged what would become the Unsanctioned Forms of Caring project.
